Group Account Pay-As-You-Throw

Any Group account (HOA) located within Fort Collins or Loveland City limits is required to abide by Pay-As-You-Throw standards set by each community. The specific regulations can be found by following these links:

  • Fort Collins Hauler Regulations
  • Fort Collins Group Account Regulations
  • Loveland PAYT regulations

Key Points to Consider

In the past, most Group Account representatives selected one service type for all residents in the neighborhood, such as a 95-gallon cart for trash and small tub for recycling. This way all homeowners would pay the exact same amount for the standard service. This could easily be added to the monthly or yearly HOA dues paid back to the association.

This is no longer allowed by local government regulation. Pay-As-You-Throw regulations prohibit Group Account representatives (i.e. management companies, board of directors) from selecting one type of service for all residents. Residents must be allowed to select the service type they feel best fits their household needs.

Benefits

There are still benefits to such a program. Let us custom design a program that will best fit the needs for your neighborhood residents. It is not a one size fits all, take it or leave it program. We will match our services to your needs. Call us today! (970) 498-4085
